Specific Events
Every Tuesday, Free CoWorking at Station 2 Innovation in Bradenton. 9am-5pm, this is drop-in open work space during standard office hours. Find a comfortable desk, table, couch, or chair. Coworking at Station 2 Innovation offers the flexibility and individualized environments for traditional and new and emerging work-styles. Enjoy free Wi-Fi, like-minded people, print and office center, access to meeting space, and free coffee.
2016 – March 4: Monthly Free Coworking at CoWorx – Free coworking day at CoWorx, Gulf Gate, Sarasota. Open to anyone but geared towards technology based entrepreneurs. Come in, grab some coffee, do some work, chat with some peers.
2016 – March 5: ArtSlam 2016 – A Celebration of Creativity! Watch as teams of students and creatives take art out of the classrooms and studios and onto the streets as ArtSlam joins the Bradenton Farmers’ Market. Engage in the creative process, experience temporary public art, and celebrate the creative youth on Manatee County.
2016 – March 8: Mass Traffic & Conversion Strategies – Internet Marketing Tips from the “Godfather of Traffic” – Meet extraordinary leaders & innovators – powerful vision, experience, & ideas from speakers and attendees of influence and thought leadership from around the world. 2016 – March 15: Have you ever thought, “How do I create an app and start a business?” Benjamin King, CEO of Keep It Simple Technologies and former CTO and co-founder of Voalte, will present the ABC’s of an app start-up. Learn about his experiences starting Voalte, and how he launched his latest company: Keep It Simple Technologies and their app, Always Be In Contact, which aims to improve customer relationship management on mobile devices. 2016 – March 22: Return on Awareness – Preparing for Cybersecurity Incidents – Event for people learning web development, working in web development, or those who are interested in becoming a web developer. Focus is on JavaScript, and JavaScript MVC’s, but also includes Ruby, Rails, Elixer, PHP, & other current web technologies.
