Starting January 1, 2017 we will be accepting potential

speaker bios for 2017 DaVinci’s Faire and BarCamp.

See some of our speakers for 2016 and years prior to get an idea of what is presented and discussed at DaVinci’s Faire & BarCamp Sarasota-Bradenton.

Our conference events are open for anyone to speak about any topic they’re passionate about that would interest our participants (often the intersection of business and technology, but certainly not limited to that).  In the past, speakers have presented on education topics, community development, funding a startup, creative writing, mobile development, web technology, writing business plans, and a whole lot more. We have people of all ages who present from the age of 6 or 7 on up! The only rules are: you’re not allowed to sell anything (products, services, etc.), and please don’t be offensive.

If you are interested in speaking at the DaVinci’s Faire event, arriving early on the day you wish to speak is helpful to securing your desired place on the schedule.  Talks are not scheduled in advance, which is why you will not find a speaker schedule for the conference here on the website. The agenda unfolds as the day progresses – which is the magic in how a BarCamp works.

If you like, we will post your bio, a photo, and a short description of your talk as a “potential speaker”.  Please send your information (including title, description, short bio, and a headshot web image) to speaker@bcsrq.com and we will get your information posted as soon as possible.
