Bradenton in the MapCelebrate Entrepreneurship on the Suncoast on November 19th with Jerry Ross from the National Entrepreneurship Center and Spark Growth of Sarasota-Bradenton. Jerry Ross, serial entrepreneur and executive director of the National Entrepreneur Center, will be speaking on November 19th at the Manatee Performing Arts Center in downtown Bradenton just around the corner from Manatee River’s scenic Riverwalk.

We are excited that Jerry literally has Bradenton on the map of his speaking tour. (I have attached the 11/19 event flier and information about the National Entrepreneur Center.)

This is a free open event in celebration of Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) where attendees will discover how public/private partnerships and community collaboration can lead to an economic harvest for Sarasota and Manatee counties, and the greater area. This fast paced session explores a new model of economic development through local small business startup and growth, and it will also serve as an introduction to the newly established non-profit Station 2 Innovation Center technology and business incubator in downtown Bradenton, launched by Spark Growth’s Sara Hand and Stan Schultes.

More about Global Entrepreneurship Week:

Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) is a celebration of the global entrepreneurial spirit, with events held in over 150 countries worldwide and involving more than a million people in the US alone annually during the 3rd week of November. Website:

In the spirit of Main Street Gardening, maps of the area with lunch locations to continue the conversations will be provided.
