Bill Crowe – Your Swiss-Army Smartphone

From making reservations, finding points of interest, where to eat and how to get there, understanding the language, to packing tips – there are some great applications for your smart phone that can make your trip much more enjoyable. In this session, we will also cover what is needed to prevent an unexpectedly high cellular bill.
Bill Crowe has a BS in Mathematics Education from University of California, PA. He also has done post Graduate work and seminars at George Washington University, Dartmouth College, and WIN Institute to name a few. He has 34 years of experience using and developing computers and computer programs, as a result of working for IBM in both technical and managerial roles.
He has taught computer related classes at New Horizons, Community College of Vermont, Saint Michaels College of Vermont. Since retiring from IBM and has be teaching for the Adult and Community Enrichment Program at Suncoast Technology College and Sarasota Technology Group (STUG) for the past 11 years.
