Bill Elias has served as a SCORE mentor to small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs in Sarasota and Manatee counties for the last six years. His clients have ranged from a 26 year old law school grad opening up his solo law practice to an 87 year old retired engineer, who recently invented a hearing aid device. He also serves as an instructor in a number of SCORE’s educational workshops. Prior to joining SCORE as a volunteer, Bill started an interim executive solo practice and worked for a large, national home builder and developer based in Florida.
Before coming to the sunshine state, Bill’s global business career included senior general management and sales/marketing positions held in the automotive, industrial and capital equipment sectors with a number of Fortune 500 companies. He also opened an international consulting practice assisting Australia based, small manufacturers to gain access to the U.S. market. This is Bill’s third year participating in the DaVinci Faire and Bar Camp event as a coach and judge in the Quick Pitch competition.
