What are you doing for yourself and your community the first weekend of May, 2013? Join us at the beautiful new Riverwalk complex in Bradenton, FL for four days of outstanding events – participate and experience what’s cool and new in business, technology, educations and the arts.
You will meet a variety of passionate and lifelong learners – entrepreneurs, educators, innovators, and creatives, across the spectrum of business and technology, investment, economic development, and the arts.
See how business affects technology, technology affects business, and how education, funding and the arts all come together. Listen, learn and experience the weekend – it will transform the way you think about the new world in which we now live and do business.
Thursday May 2 is a “Coding for non-Profit” event – which will bring together software architects, designers, coders and project managers for an incredibly fun day solving some technical issues for Realize Bradenton – the local arts and culture council, and the group that runs the Riverwalk complex.
Friday May 3 is an Economic Development Summit that, through a series of panel discussions and breakouts and a special keynote, will examine current trends in disruptive technology and disruptive business models.
Saturday May 4 is the BarCamp Sarasota-Bradenton unconference event where open space rules, and the conference agenda grows on the fly during the day. Everyone participates by sharing their passion – whether it be through talks, panel discussions, round tables, marketing feedback, or just plain great conversations.
Sunday May 5 is a green technology expo and music festival day, and you can also join us for a special showing of the Fiddler on the Roof at the brand new Manatee Players’ Theater. This will be a fun-filled day to learn what’s new from the US Green Builders’ Council (no registration required).
Take your involvement in the local entrepreneurial support ecosystem to another level – our local and online communities are highly connected, supportive, and engaged. We are looking for sponsors, partners, and passionate engagement from the community; you choose your level of involvement – spectate, speak, participate, dream! Just don’t miss it.
Traditional events may give you lots of info – but Riverwalk 2013 will be transformational to you, your ideas, and the beautiful area you live in.
